Ruthin is centrally situated within the North Wales holiday area - easily accessed from Liverpool and Manchester airports and the Irish ferry port of Holyhead.

The Roman city of Chester, the mountains of Snowdonia, the famous castles and National Trust houses are all about one hours drive. Click on the map above for a full view of our location.

We can prepare individual recommended itineraries for daily sightseeing tours

Overseas visitors staying for several days are welcome to use our clothes washing and drying facilities - there is no Laundromat in Ruthin.

Firgrove is a totally Non-Smoking establishment - Smokers can enjoy the garden!

Our dog (See above) does not like other pets!

Firgrove is not suitable for children.

As an old and draughty house Firgrove is a difficult property to keep hot during the winter months,so we are closed through December,January and February.We just put extra jumpers on!
